Roof Repair Cost
The cost of your roof repair depends on the nature of the problem and the size of your house. Most roof leaks can be found easily, but others can be really involved. We’ll take photos to show you any issues that we find. After the roofing system inspection, we’ll provide a roof repair estimate.

7 Signs Your Roof is Failing
1. Roof Leaks
While a leaking roof is the most obvious sign of a failing roof, it can be difficult to spot. It’s easiest to find a leaking roof after a strong storm. If you see wet or damp areas in any ceiling or attic, you likely have a roof leak.
2. Peeling Paint
If you notice peeling or blistering paint on the inside or outside of your home, your roofing system could be damaged. This happens when moisture gets trapped due to a hot and humid attic, caused by poor attic ventilation.
3. Interior Stains, Mold, Mildew
The interior of your house should be free from stains and moisture. If you see stains, mold, or mildew, chances are your roof has poor shingle underlayment and/or inadequate attic ventilation.
4. Exterior Decay
When the exterior of your house starts decaying, a common culprit is excess moisture. This is caused by poor attic ventilation. The proper solution requires adding a vapor barrier in front of your insulation.
5. Damaged, Missing, or Cracked Shingles
Toward the end of your roof’s useful life, you will see these warning signs. When you notice that your shingles are dry, brittle, or cracked, it’s time for a new roof.
6. Dark Areas or Stains on Roof
These signs are usually a result of vegetation, fungus, mold, or algae growth. This can happen when the shingles’ protective coating wears off. To avoid this, consider investing in stain-resistant shingles for your next roof.
7. High Energy Bill
When your attic is not properly insulted and vented, your home will use a lot more energy. In the summer hot air and moisture is trapped, damaging the integrity of your roofing system and increasing energy costs.
